
About the Role
It is an exciting time to join our client as they expand their Outpatient Mental Health services for youth ages 0-24 and their families. This newly expanding program builds on our clients long history of providing quality behavioral coaching and individual, group and family therapy to Medi-Cal and ERMHS recipients. Our client will now provide these therapeutic services to an expanded population allowing any individual regardless of insurance provider to access services. Services are provided both on our beautiful campus located in the Sunset District of San Francisco and in the community.
This is a Director level position that holds responsibility for developing and leading these services, providing day-to-day operational management, and monitoring data and continuous quality improvement indicators. This position will also work in partnership with our clients new Psychological Services Center that provides training to doctoral level psychology students who conduct comprehensive psychological assessments.

Salary: $160k-$170k
Essential Function
Ability to design, implement and grow a new business
Collaborate effectively with leadership across programs and engage program staff in reaching agency mission, vision, and goals
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a range of stakeholders
Set strategic goals collaboratively and lead a change process to achieve them
Develop and manage resources to advance agency and program area goals
Develop and empower individuals and teams to their highest level of performance
Capacity to lead a culturally diverse workforce and create an environment of respect and dignity
Lead the implementation team through a start-up and implementation process
Develop business opportunities and actively participate in marketing activities
Provide operational programmatic oversight to Outpatient Mental Health Services
Ability to be on-site 70% of the time
Ensures that programs meet standards of care based upon client needs
Works with the executive team to review financials, meet targets and negotiate contracts
Sets clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring feedback, and addressing performance issues promptly
Directly supervises staff to ensure the proper delivery of services
Collaborates and interfaces with partners
Ensures that best practices are being used in all aspects of the work
Professionally represents agency's perspectives and philosophy in discussions with external parties such as county Human Services Agency (HSA) and the Department of Public Health (DPH)
Other duties as assigned or needed by the program
Requirements
5+ years relevant work experience and a BA in social sciences from an accredited university or college required. LCSW, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD and Clinical License preferred.
A minimum of five years of work experience in a therapeutic setting with children, youth, and families
Demonstrated ability in working collaboratively with individuals and groups
Excellent verbal, written, and consultation skills
Awareness of and sensitivity to multicultural issues
Valid CA Driver’s License
